Bring in meetings from other tools
Transcripts from Fathom, Fireflies.ai and Google Meet, plus call recordings already stored in your CRM, arrive automatically and run the same post-meeting agent as a Spiich recording.
You do not have to move your recording tool to get the rest of Spiich. Transcripts and summaries from other tools attach themselves to the matching meeting and are treated exactly like a recording Spiich made: the same summary card, the same transcript, and the same post-meeting agent writing back to your CRM and drafting a follow-up.
Where meetings can come from
| Source | How it connects | Where the media lives |
|---|---|---|
| Spiich Recorder | Paired desktop app | In Spiich, with an in-app player |
| Fathom | OAuth from Settings > Integrations | In Fathom, reached with an Open link |
| Fireflies.ai | An API key from your Fireflies account | In Fireflies, reached with an Open link |
| Google Meet | Google's own conference transcripts | In Google, reached with an Open link |
| Attio, HubSpot, Pipedrive | Automatic once the CRM is connected | In the CRM, reached with an Open link |
When a meeting ends up with more than one recording, chips on the Recording card let you switch between the sources.
Connect Fathom
Open Settings > Integrations
Scroll to the
Meeting intelligencesection.Click Connect Fathom
On the Fathom card, click
Connect Fathom.Approve the Fathom authorization screen
You are returned to
Settings > Integrationsand the card now readsConnected.
New Fathom meetings then arrive automatically with their transcript and summary attached, matched to the calendar meeting.
Connect Fireflies.ai
Copy your Fireflies API key
In Fireflies, open
Settings > Developerand copy the API key.Open the Fireflies.ai card in Spiich
Settings > Integrations > Meeting intelligence, then clickConnect Fireflies.Paste the key and connect
Put the key in the
API Keyfield and clickConnect. Spiich validates it against Fireflies before saving it.Note the sync frequency, then click Done
Spiich polls Fireflies on a schedule set by your Fireflies plan's own API rate limit: roughly every 5 minutes on higher-limit accounts, otherwise once per day. The card shows
Last synced,Next syncandFrequency, or "Syncing now..." while a poll is running.
The first connect starts a background backfill of the last 30 days of transcripts. It is the only backfill: reconnecting later resumes live polling from where it left off instead of running the 30 days again.
To stop it, use the ... menu on the card and choose Disconnect. That removes the API key and stops the sync. You can reconnect at any time.
Google Meet transcripts
Spiich picks up Google Meet's own conference transcripts as they are produced and attaches them to the matching meeting. It needs the Meet permission on your Google connection, which is requested on the consent screen alongside Gmail and Calendar. The Google Workspace card then shows a Meet status dot next to Gmail and Calendar; if it reads Not granted, click Reconnect on the card and approve the Meet permission.
Call recordings stored in your CRM
Call recordings already sitting in a connected Attio, HubSpot or Pipedrive account are pulled in as meeting recordings with no setup beyond connecting the CRM. They appear on the matching meeting with a source label naming the CRM, and their media is offered as an Open link back to the CRM rather than an in-app player.
What happens to an imported meeting
Every one of these sources triggers the same post-meeting agent as a Spiich recording. That means CRM updates at your chosen level, exactly one meeting note, at most one follow-up task, and a follow-up email draft, subject to how you have configured them under Settings > Meeting Agent. See Meeting notes and CRM updates.
Limits
- Imported recordings play in the tool they came from. Only recordings Spiich made get an in-app player, a speaker timeline and a download button.
- Fireflies backfills the last 30 days, once, on first connect. Older meetings stay where they are.
- Fireflies polling frequency is decided by your Fireflies plan's API rate limit, not by a setting in Spiich.
- Google Meet import needs the Meet permission on your Google connection.
- Imported meetings still have to match a meeting on your calendar to attach to it.
If something goes wrong
- Connecting Fireflies fails with a rate limit message. The Fireflies account has already hit its own API limit for the day. Wait the interval named in the message and click
Connectagain. - Fireflies is connected but older meetings are missing. Only the first connect backfills, and only 30 days. Nothing is broken.
- The Google Workspace card shows Meet as `Not granted`. The connection predates the Meet permission, or it was declined. Click
Reconnectand approve it. - A CRM call recording never appeared. Check the CRM is still connected under
Settings > Integrations, and that the call is attached to a record Spiich can see.
