Spiich raises €3M to put salespeople back in front of customers
€3M seed round led by Ugly Duckling Ventures, with Alliance VC, Cherry Ventures and Ampli Ventures, to take on the work that keeps salespeople away from customers.
Sales runs on trust, and trust is built between people. While much of the AI in sales has set out to replace the salesperson, Spiich handles everything that keeps them away from their customers.
STOCKHOLM, 23 SEPTEMBER 2026: Spiich Labs today announced a €3 million seed round led by Copenhagen-based Ugly Duckling Ventures, with Alliance VC and Cherry Ventures joining as new investors and pre-seed lead Ampli Ventures following on. They join a group of existing backers that includes founders of Lovable, Neo4j and Tandem Health. The round comes ten months after Spiich announced its pre-seed and brings total funding to €3.6 million.
Spiich is built on a simple thesis: sales is human. Over the past four years, a wave of AI sales startups has tried to replace the salesperson. Spiich is betting on the opposite: let salespeople sell, and let AI handle the rest.
Johan Torssell, CEO and co-founder of Spiich, said: "Have you ever bought anything from an AI agent? Almost nobody has. You buy from someone you trust to deliver. Every deal I have ever closed came down to that. We didn't build Spiich to replace salespeople. We built it so they can finally sell."
Right now, customers get barely a fifth of a salesperson's week. Salesforce's State of Sales 2026 finds salespeople spend just 22% of their time with them. The other 78% goes to prospecting, planning, data entry and everything else around the sale. Spiich takes that work on, so salespeople can spend their days on what they love and what creates value for the business. The results are measurable: customers see twice as many customer meetings, 90% less time spent prospecting and three times the market coverage. Sales teams don't use Spiich as another tool on the side: it is where they get their work done.
Fifteen months after it was founded, Spiich has 50 customers across fifteen countries in Europe, the US and South America, including NORNORM, ProfitMetrics, Zaver, Airmee, Rebaba and Epiminds. ARR is growing 100% month on month, with 160% net revenue retention and almost no churn. Through Spiich, customers have closed more than 50,000 deals.
Louise Lachmann, Partner at Ugly Duckling Ventures, said: "Every sales tool of the last decade promised to give reps their time back, and most of them delivered another system to keep updated. Spiich is the first we've seen that does the non-selling work rather than assisting with it. What convinced us wasn't the demo, it was what happened after go-live: accounts expanding within weeks because teams kept finding more work to hand over. Johan and Dennis pair engineering judgement well above their stage with a commercial instinct you rarely find in the same founding team. That's why we led the round."
The new funding goes into hiring across engineering and go-to-market as Spiich sets out to win Europe. It will also build on the company's biggest advantage: its data. Because salespeople run their work through Spiich, it sees every conversation around every customer relationship, across meetings, emails, internal notes and external signals. That is the foundation of Spiich's intelligence layer. The CRM is the system of record, and it only knows what someone typed in. Spiich is the system of intelligence and action: it understands what is actually happening in each relationship, acts on it, and shows every sales organisation where to improve.
Hannah Meiton, Founding Partner at Ampli Ventures, said: "I spent years in sales, and I know exactly which part of the week every rep wishes would disappear. Johan and Dennis are getting rid of it, and they are doing it with a level of talent and ambition I rarely see."
