Is Attio or Pipedrive better for B2B sales teams?

Pipedrive is better if your deals move through the same stages every time and you want reps working in it on day one. Attio is better if your data doesn't fit deals, people and companies, or keeps changing as you learn how you sell. For a 20-rep team on annual billing, Pipedrive Premium costs $14,160 a year and Attio Pro $18,960.

Both are good CRMs, and both are far cheaper than HubSpot or Salesforce at the same size. We run Spiich's own sales on Attio. Every price and limit here was checked on the vendor's own pages in October 2026; Pipedrive's prices come from its pricing page as of September 2026.

How do Attio and Pipedrive compare?

Attio wins on data model, free plan and AI that works across the whole CRM. Pipedrive wins on price per seat, ease of use, sequences on cheaper plans and an AI notetaker on every plan. The biggest structural difference is custom objects: Attio has them on Pro, Pipedrive doesn't have them at all.

The G2 ratings are tied, but Pipedrive's rests on almost nine times as many reviews, which reflects how much longer it has been on the market (Attio on G2, Pipedrive on G2, October 2026).

How much do Attio and Pipedrive cost for a sales team?

Attio costs $35 a seat a month on Plus and $79 on Pro, billed annually. Pipedrive costs $14 on Lite, $39 on Growth, $59 on Premium and $79 on Ultimate. Attio is cheaper up to 10 seats, and free for up to 3. Past 10 seats Pipedrive is cheaper, because Attio Plus stops at 10 and the next plan costs $79.

20 repsPro: $18,960 a yearPremium: $14,160 a year

Attio's prices come from its pricing page, where monthly billing runs $44 and $99. Pipedrive's come from its pricing page, where monthly billing runs $24 to $99 and annual billing is prepaid and non-refundable (Pipedrive).

Two costs sit outside the seat price. Attio meters AI and workflows in credits: Pro includes 10,000 workspace credits a month, and top-ups start at $70 a month for 5,000. Pipedrive's Lite plan has no email sync, so the real entry price for a sales team is Growth at $39.

Which handles custom data better, Attio or Pipedrive?

Attio, clearly. On Pro you can add up to 12 objects, like partners, investors or projects, with custom relationships and formula attributes between them. Pipedrive keeps a fixed model of leads, deals, people and organizations, and you extend it with custom fields only.

That difference is the whole choice for some teams. If you sell one product through one pipeline, Pipedrive's fixed model is a feature: there's nothing to design and nothing for reps to get wrong. If you sell through partners, run a product-led motion with workspaces and users, or track anything that isn't a deal, Attio lets you model it (Attio pricing, Pipedrive plan matrix). Our Attio review covers where that flexibility starts to cost you in governance.

Which is easier for reps to use, Attio or Pipedrive?

Pipedrive. Its pipeline board is the product, and reps understand it in a day. Attio is fast and well designed, but it starts closer to a blank database, so someone has to set up the views and lists before reps get the same clarity.

Attio narrows the gap by filling itself in: it syncs email and calendar on every plan and creates people and companies from that traffic by default (Attio). Pipedrive syncs email from Growth and creates people automatically only through its Smart Bcc address. For how both compare on automations like these, see the best CRM automation examples.

How do Attio's and Pipedrive's AI features compare?

Attio's AI works across the whole CRM: Ask Attio answers questions and drafts work from all your records, and agents run inside workflows, all drawing on credits. Pipedrive's AI is more task-specific: Nova records meetings and suggests CRM updates on every plan at no extra cost, and an AI email writer comes with Premium.

The practical difference is who acts. Pipedrive's Nova always asks a rep to approve an update before it writes (Pipedrive). Attio workflows can update records on their own once you build them, and its call recorder needs Pro (Attio). Our guide to making Attio an agentic CRM covers what its agents can and can't reach.

When should you choose Attio over Pipedrive?

Choose Attio when your data model is the hard part, and Pipedrive when adoption is. The two fail in opposite directions: Attio can become a database nobody maintains, and Pipedrive can become a pipeline that can't hold how you actually sell.

Choose Attio if:

  • You track more than deals: partners, investors, product usage or accounts with many workspaces
  • You're early and expect your sales motion to change within a year
  • You have up to 3 users and want a free CRM that isn't a toy

Choose Pipedrive if:

  • Your deals move through the same stages in the same order
  • You want sequences and lead routing without paying for the top plan
  • You have more than 10 reps and want the lower per-seat price

How hard is it to switch between Attio and Pipedrive?

Both use Import2 to bring data across, and both list each other's CRMs as sources. Attio's migration tool is free but only on paid plans. Pipedrive's is free up to a million records and works during the trial, so you can test a full import before paying.

The details are in Attio's migration guide and Pipedrive's. Records and deals move cleanly. Activity history, automations and the habits your team built around the old tool don't. Read what CRM migration actually costs before you decide the switch is cheap.
