About Hypertype

Hypertype is an AI intelligence layer for machine manufacturers, answering technical questions, resolving service requests, and finding needed documents. "The vision is that salespeople only spend time on outbound, not on lead gen. Spiich has built our sales strategy. It's the reason we get so many meetings and such strong conversion, and it's all done from a prompt," says Joel Wiberg, Founder's Associate at Hypertype.

Use case01

Two Days a Week Saved

TL;DR: Joel spent two days a week sourcing leads through Apollo and Lusha. Half weren't usable. Spiich replaced Apollo, Lusha, Strawberry, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and the team 10x'd their outreach.

Before Spiich, Hypertype's sales ran on trade shows and word of mouth. Joel spent two days a week building lists in Apollo and Lusha, exporting CSVs into Attio. Half the leads weren't usable.

"We used Sales Navigator, but our customers aren't on LinkedIn. We tried Apollo for a long time - too expensive, too much work. Lusha was the same story, manual and slow. Spiich has replaced everything," Joel says.

Event prep used to be its own project. Slush took two weeks. Smaller trade shows, three to four hours. "Now I send 150 companies to Spiich in one prompt and it's done," Joel continues.

Joel now spends two to three hours a day in Spiich and the rest on outbound. The team has 10x'd their outreach volume, and 16% convert to a qualified meeting.

"The difference - it's night and day."

— Joel Wiberg, Founder's Associate at Hypertype

Key results:

  • 2 days per week saved on lead gen
  • 10x outreach volume
  • 16% of cold calls convert to a qualified meeting

Fastest Close Yet

TL;DR: Complex sales cycles move through multiple people, and every handover loses context. Meeting briefs enabled Hypertype's fastest cycle ever: two weeks, in an industry where cycles run six to twelve months.

Hypertype sells to industrial machine manufacturers, where B2B sales cycles typically run six to twelve months. Deals move through multiple people: an SDR books the first meeting, a founder joins later, a technical lead comes in before the close. Every handover loses context. Before Spiich, closing that gap meant walking in cold or researching accounts manually.

"The briefs mean I can jump into any deal and feel confident. It has had a huge impact on our conversion."

— Joel Wiberg, Founder's Associate at Hypertype

One deal stands out. Spiich surfaced a large manufacturer in the Netherlands Joel had never heard of, and identified the right buyer. Joel called that same day. "Meeting brief before the meeting, one call, closed in two weeks. It's the fastest sales cycle we've ever had," Joel says.

Key results:

  • Fastest sales cycle to date: 2 weeks, in an industry where cycles typically run 6-12 months
  • Every meeting starts with a Spiich brief

Zero Manual Updates in Attio

TL;DR: The real cost of manual CRM work isn't the hours. It's the leads that sit for six months while their quality decays. Since adopting Spiich, Joel hasn't manually updated a deal.

Before Spiich, finding leads and updating the CRM were the two parts of the job Joel hated most. Both got deprioritised. Leads sat in Attio for six months at a time, decaying with every week of silence.

Now the CRM stays current without the team touching it, and follow-ups are made while leads are warm. "I haven't manually updated anything in Attio since we started using Spiich. It's my favourite product I use right now," Joel says.

Key results:

  • 0 manual CRM updates since adopting Spiich
  • Faster follow-up while leads are still warm
  • Clear pipeline visibility across the team
Spiich's impact

No Going Back

"If you're considering it, just try it. I never want to go back to normal lead gen," Joel continues.

"Our sales team wouldn't function without Spiich. We've built the whole team around it, and I wouldn't want to work any other way."
