# Insights and goals

> Insights shows what you use Spiich for and what it completes for you, with goals, streaks and achievement paths. Admins get a Team tab and can turn CRM counts into shared targets.

Insights is your own report on Spiich: what you use it for, what it finished for you, and the milestones you have reached. Open it at [`Settings > Insights`](https://app.spiich.ai/settings/insights), or from the Insights card on the Settings Overview.

The page has three tabs. `Overview` and `Achievements` are there for everyone; `Team` appears only for workspace admins. The active tab is kept in the address bar, so any view can be bookmarked.

## What the Overview tab shows you

A period selector switches between `This week`, `This month` and `All time`, defaulting to this month. The Productivity gains card has its own independent period control.

- **Estimated time saved.** One headline figure for the period. Expand `How it is calculated` for the full table: each action, the assumption behind it, how many were counted, the per-unit estimate and the resulting time. Related counters are combined, so a recording, its transcript and its summary count as one processed meeting.
- **Value realized.** A score out of 100 percent, made of Features used at 60 percent, Work completed at 30 percent and Active use at 10 percent. `Next best action` names the one incomplete action that would raise it most.
- **Product usage tiles.** Background agents, chat messages, meeting time recorded and briefs generated. A tile with no activity greys out and reads `Not in use`, which distinguishes a feature you have never used from a genuine zero. Beneath them, Connected surfaces shows whether the Chrome extension, the mobile app and the Spiich Recorder are actually being used, based on detected use rather than installation.
- **Productivity gains.** Meetings processed, emails drafted, CRM records created, CRM records updated and tasks completed by Spiich.
- **Your activity.** A weekday grid shaded by how much happened each day, with your current streak and your longest ever. Hover a square for that day's breakdown.

> **Note:** Streaks count weekdays only. Weekends are never drawn on the grid and never break a streak, so a quiet Saturday costs you nothing.

## Set a goal

1. **Open the Goals panel**
Go to `Settings > Insights` and stay on the Overview tab. The Goals panel sits near the top.

2. **Add one**
Click `Add goal` and pick a metric under `Goal`, such as meeting hours recorded, emails drafted by Spiich, or CRM records updated.

3. **Choose who it applies to**
Leave `Who` on `Only me` for a personal goal. Admins also get `Everyone individually`, where each person has to hit the target themselves, and `Everyone combined`, where the team shares one total.

4. **Set the target and cadence**
   Enter a number in `Target`, then pick `Every week`, `Every month` or `All time` under `Repeats`. An all-time goal also needs a `Start date`.

5. **Create it**
Click `Create goal`. It appears as a card with a progress ring. Reopen it with the pencil icon to change the target, or delete it from inside that dialog.

Only the owner can edit a personal goal, and only an admin can edit one that applies to the workspace, so a missing pencil icon means it is not yours to change.

## Achievements

The Achievements tab holds six paths of five levels each, filled by all-time totals rather than the selected period: Scribe for meetings transcribed, Ghostwriter for follow-up emails drafted, Dispatch for messages sent, Autopilot for background runs, Prospector for CRM records created and Spotless for CRM updates. A summary card shows levels unlocked and paths complete.

Crossing a Dispatch level while chatting pops an `Achievement unlocked` toast. Levels crossed by background work never toast, so check the tab rather than waiting for a notification.

## The Team tab

> **Admin only:** The Team tab is admin-only. Members do not see it, and typing the URL falls back to Overview.

The Team tab reports how the workspace used Spiich in the selected period: active members out of the total, agent runs completed, total recorder time, and a ranked list of members. Switch the ranking between average team value and nine activity measures. Each row shows the person's job title or email, when they were last active, and a badge for what they mainly use Spiich for.

Below that, `CRM goal sources` lets an admin define counts straight out of the connected CRM. Click `Add CRM count`, name it something like Deals won, then pick the CRM object, the field and the value it must equal. Add a `Date field` if the count should follow the selected period; without one it is permanently an all-time count and cannot carry weekly or monthly goals.

Turn on `Show count in Overview goals` and it appears as a card in every member's Goals. Only a published count can be given a team target, from the target icon on its card, and each count supports one team goal.

## What the numbers do not tell you

- **Some counters start from the day tracking was switched on.** CRM records created and updated, leads saved by agents, My Day use and table use are not backfilled. The interface says so on the Productivity gains card and under the Team ranking, so a low number early on is not low activity.
- **Estimates are recalculated, not stored.** Estimated time saved and Value realized are computed live from the current model, so a finished period can change when the model does. The version is named in the calculation breakdown.
- **Setup does not count.** Opening pages, starting threads, changing agent configuration and creating goals do not raise the Value score or a streak. Only completed work does.
- **Days are filed in your own timezone,** taken from your profile, and figures are cached for up to five minutes in an open tab. Something you just did may need a reload.

## If something goes wrong

- **The current streak reads 0 despite working today.** Only ten kinds of action count, such as a chat message sent, a recording saved, an agent run completed or a CRM record created or updated. Do one of those, then reload.
- **"Insights could not be loaded."** Click `Try again`. Your recorded activity is unaffected; only the request failed.
- **The Team tab is missing.** It is admin-only. Ask an admin to look, or to promote you in [`Settings > User Management`](https://app.spiich.ai/settings/user-management).
- **A CRM count shows a number that does not match the CRM.** It uses one field-equals-value filter, plus the date field if you set one, bounded by the period at the top of the tab. Open it with the pencil icon and check all three.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can other people see my Insights?

The Overview and Achievements tabs are your own activity and nobody else opens them for you. Workspace admins do see the Team tab, which ranks members on activity measures such as active days, agent runs, emails drafted and CRM work, along with when each person was last active.

### Why did a finished period change its time saved figure?

Estimated time saved is calculated live from the current rate model rather than stored, so every period is recalculated when the model is updated. Expand `How it is calculated` and check the rate model version shown in the breakdown.

### Can a member create a goal for the whole team?

No. `Everyone individually` and `Everyone combined` only appear in the `Who` dropdown for admins; a member only sees `Only me`. Ask an admin to create the team goal from `Settings > Insights > Overview > Goals`.

### Why does the Chrome extension say "Not in use" when I installed it?

Connected surfaces reflect detected usage, not installation. Sign in and use the extension, the mobile app or the Spiich Recorder once, then reload Insights and the tile flips to `In use`.
